Flapper Girl
The other day I had a chance to try something new. I wanted a vintage 20's look to the photos and I think they turned out great. I love the haze on them. They're dreamy. Thank you to my beautiful niece for letting me make her up since my daughter is sick of taking pics!

My not-so little girl
My daughter has really grown up in the last year. She's always been a sweet and gentle, but lately she's changing. She's still sweet and gentle, but she's also mature and sensitive. She's turning into a young lady. I'm amazed at her beauty, both internally and externally. Sometimes I'm in awe that she's just 10 years old.

Harp Family
This past Saturday I was lucky enough to do a mini-session for my wonder sister-in-law Lillie and my beautiful niece Sarah.
They were a blast. It was early, I stayed in my pj's as we trekked out in my backyard. So glad to be able to wear whatever with family and they don't bat an eye! I was a little nervous really because it had rained for two days prior and up until an few hours before we did the photos. When you are starting your photography career you're begging people to PLEASE give you a chance and I didn't want to disappoint them. Luckily, I didn't. Here are a few of the photos that I took. I'll post more throughout the week!
Lillie wanted her hood up in this photo. We all tell her she looks like Little Red Riding Hood, but it turned out great.
These two were the crowd favorites. I ended up with 38 awesome photos and they were very happy with them which in turn makes me very happy!

Sarah, oh, Sarah. I still see her as a two year old that loved sitting in her Auntie Amber's lap and now she's a few months away from being 12 and looks like she's about to be 16! When her momma isn't around, she really gets into getting her photos done.

Backyard
This morning I made my girls get out of their pj's and go to our backyard for some test photos. When they hear me say, "Hey, you're gonna help me," they all moan..haha. I have always taken hundreds and hundreds of photos of them every year, but now that I want to do it professionally they are my little guinea pigs. Why else did I have them except to do my bidding???? Ok, I'm not that mean, but I made them go outside and made them act happy! haha...before long they were the ones telling me what to do. We had fun. They are beautiful girls. I'll post more later this week.
